This past weekend we gave some much needed TLC to an old dresser in our guest bedroom. I don't think either of us anticipated how much time it would take to paint (well, actually Matt takes most of the blame here for buying white primer when our top coat was black...won't make that mistake again!). Here's what it looked like.
Sanding wood indoors was a little harsh on the airways:

The aforementioned white primer a.k.a. time sink (note to my readers - if you're painting something black, buy black primer, it will save loads of time and paint):
